His family is Mexican, mine is British. How do we merge the cultures at our wedding?
We’re having a garden wedding at sunset, but I’d like to add in some details that include our heritage. I could do some teapots and teacups/saucers at the coffee bar for my family. But I don’t know how to infuse the Mexican culture. My fiance joked I could put up a pinata in the back and serve Margaritas. Geez! He’s no help! Oh, and half of his family doesn’t speak fluent English, including HIS PARENTS. Is this going to be awkward or what?
Maybe you can serve some Mexican food! Like birria, or carne asada. Yum! Or serve the british tea with a mexican style cake. Tres leches cake is de-lish!
