Hi I have this great idea to market iced tea without any tea in it but still call it iced tea?
Can anybody suggest a good demographic to market this product to? You know, somebody who will pay premium markup for tealess ice tea, which technically is still tea according to similar congressional legislation.
That’s not what atheism is. Atheism is not a godless religion. We have none of the central tenets, or uniform code of beliefs, necessary for atheism to be called a religion.
Atheist are free to believe the universe was created however they want to believe it was.
There is no ultimate reason for us to be nice. We each find our own reasons.
Most importantly, there is none of the dogma that seems to be so popular with religion. I may believe in the Big Bang, or evolution, but I am not required to make it the central part of my life… That’s my wife job. Ha ha.
And yes, the Constitution of the United States, which I am assuming is the congressional legislation you are being so dismissive of, does guarantee me the equal right to believe whatever I want.
Know what? It also say I don’t have to believe what you believe. And the best thing about that legislation? You are not required to believe what I believe either. Isn’t that wonderful? One law saying we must both respect each others beliefs.
