How about this theory : You should eat more food at dinner because when you sleep your body renews cells, etc?

I have a japanese co-worker who only has a cup of green tea in the morning. For lunch, he eats moderate amount of food but in the evening..whoa..he really eats a lot. He said, in Japan, people eat more in the evening because when you sleep your body fixes/renews cells/tissues, etc. I’d love to try this. But what do you think? Any experience? He’s incredibly fit and in ideal weight.

It is a poor plan. You need some calories in the morning to kick start both your metabolism and your brain, Some calories at lunchtime to sustain you through the day and a modest evening meal. It is no accident that all over the world humans eat 3 times a day.
