What is the secret with Earl Gray tea?

Ok, I've been sick for the past two weeks. I started drinking hot tea I constantly told. I drink Earl Gray tea, with my illness. What is the secret? It has completely opened my Airways and everything else blocked. I also feel more relaxed. No placebo or nothing. Is it true bergamot has been used for medicinal purposes?

Is Bergamot. It is a citrus fruit. Citrus fruit is good for you.
